Three mutually intertwined stories from the present time are reflecting, complementing or contradicting one another. Throughout the film, the naked parts of a wounded humaneness are shown with a gentle irony. Baker Blaž is driven mad by alcohol and monsters of the hot summer days. The artist Lidija is flirting with a leader of a string quartet; this fills her with hope and happiness, yet it also breaks her heart. Sabina loves Polona and suffers because her loved one is away; but when Polona turns up she only causes new suffering because she loves a man. An extraordinary erotic tension settles in the midst of peace and wellbeing of the mountains.
