Filmmaker Karpo Godina went through all the important stages of creating the contemporary Yugoslavian film; from the amateur film practice in 1960s, when he was among the best five Yugoslavian amateur cineastes of that time, through the new wave, where he included as a director of photography and film editor, to independent projects in 1970s and 80s, when he as an integrated author (screenplay, direction, camera, editing) significantly contributed to the film aesthetics and cinematographic practice in the Yugoslavian and also European context.
