Fifteen-year old Tomaž is looking for his girlfriend Milena, after moving from the coastal town of Piran to the city of Lubljana. They finally meet and Tomaž decide to join a dance club. He attends an audition for break dancers and makes new friends besides Milena, who is a jazz ballet dancer. The dance club has a problem with lack of space. They want to evict them and turn the dance club into a storage facility. The children don't give up. Through various misadventures they prevent this from happening, especially by staging a public dance performance. Running parallel to this is the story of the friendship between Tomaž and Milena.
