The story reaches a peak by the sea, where Milena makes an attempt to subtly reveal which of the two young men she loves. She does this by building a sand castle on the beach, where the three of them can be alone, safe and free. Yet the police are close on their trail. Before Milena lies an endless journey into the dark sea, and the two young men must come to terms with a shocking realisation.
