A trial against a German Catholic priest and a French humanist is held immediately after the World War II. The first of the accused who followed his organization’s principles is found not guilty, and the other one who refused to lift up a gun at any time, is found guilty of charges. In his closing speech he turns from a defendant into a prosecutor.
