A high school student, whose father was killed in WW2, lives in an Istrian village and then moves to Pula together with his mother. He meets new people, some of them have lived there since the very beginning and some of them are immigrants like him. They are very different form each other, but they all become very close and develop genuine interpersonal relationships.
