Synopsis
Shot on Christmas Eve at the Slovenia-Italy border, this film depicts the hunger, thirst, and despair of Turkish, Kurdish, Afghan, and Pakistani refugees. Linked with Italian volunteers' accounts, this heavy documentary leaves a profound mark that one can bear to watch only once.
Director
Director's statement
Filming secretly and dangerously, I documented the raw survival of refugees with their consent. We see the crisis through numbers, but each individual story is a human life worth witnessing. I made this film to remind the world of this heavy truth.
