Ljubezen na odoru

Although Afra feels trapped in her marriage with an ageing man whom she does not love, she goes on living with him because she is tied to him through their many children and her love for the mountains. Her life changes completely when she falls madly in love with Voruh the woodcutter and has an eighth child with him. When her husband finds out about her infidelity, he ends the relationship abruptly. Afra, defying the possibly hostile judgement of the village community, moves in with Voruh together with her youngest child. Through this, the villagers realise how real this newborn love is and acknowledge the union. When it all seems that Afra's other children will also move in with her and the woodcutter, a tragic accident occurs in the forest.
