Synopsis
Ljubljana, winter 2020–2021. The second wave of COVID-19. State curfew. While the majority stay sheltered in the warmth, some are fighting to survive on the streets. #StayHome—if you have one. The documentary The Second-Class highlights systemic issues, such as dysfunctional housing policy and the lack of political will to address homelessness.

Director's statement
The project emerged as a continuation of the documentary series COVID-19 on the Streets, which focused on the individual stories of the homeless. The film Drugorazredni, however, places social workers at the forefront of the narrative, highlighting the systemic problems behind homelessness.
