Drugisvet

A border town combines different worlds, which in Trieste have pretended for a very long time that they don't know each other. The border that used to separate so much, will soon be gone. But after the sun goes down and I observe the souls of my town, I can feel that there never really was a border. At the centre of everything is the human being, life, thoughts that go beyond borders. So I listen to my protagonists, to their stories, and I see a different Trieste. There, the Slovenian and the Italian language, night and day, light and shadow, normality and insanity, microcosm and macrocosm continuously overlap and interpenetrate through images and words, pouring into one single reality, into another world.
