Synopsis
A group of Yugoslav communists in jail decide to escape from the prison before the war and the shooting begin. They start digging the tunnel, but water gets too dangerous and the only have one alternative left. They have to attack their guards. And old problems begin to rise. One of them is frustrated and thinks he does not deserve to be set free and to be a revolutionist ever again. He tries to commit suicide when others are busy preparing the attack, but he discovers that water had gone from the tunnel and their road to the freedom is wide open.
