After their revenge with Chetniks, three partisans return to the village. Everything is ready for the feast. The three partisans are so very exhausted and starved they cannot resist the food, and they take some back to their colleagues. Offences like this are normally sanctioned with a death penalty. But since they were so young and because they brought some of the food to their friends, the battalion votes against the death penalty.
